 Tri-Community Ambulance has been serving the fire districts of Bergholz, Pekin, Sanborn and St. Johnsburg since 1956 and the fire district of Frontier since 2006. We are a 100% volunteer organization.

Our members are certified in many levels:
Drivers EVOC [Emergency Vehicle Operations Course] - 16 hours
CFR Certified First Responder - 40 hours
EMT Emergency Medical Technician - 135 hours
EMT-I Intermediate EMT - 220 hours
EMT-CC Critical Care EMT - 360 hours
EMT-P Paramedics - 3 semesters college

All have completed New York State Department of Health testing
and must maintain this certification by continuing education every 3 years.

Tri-Community is a provider for the New York State Department of Health Pilot Recertification Program for EMT's up to Paramedic Level.

Anyone between the ages of 14 and 17 interested in the Health Care Field should consider joining our EXPLORER PROGRAM.

 WHAT TO DO IN AN EMERGENCY

  • Stay Calm
  • Call for Help
  • When dialing 9 1 1, answer all questions by Emergency Dispatcher and
    DO NOT HANG UP until told to do so by them
  • Turn on Porch lights at night!
  • Large visable numbers on mailbox and house are
    important for Police, Fire & EMT to find you!
  • Learn CPR from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
    Call these organizations for class schedules.
  • If you are not the ill or injured party, keep them calm and warm until help arrives.
 


DONATIONS

Tri-Community Ambulance does not receive any money from the State, County, or from any taxes.
We rely on billing insurance companies for our services.

Tri-Community Ambulance is a Federal 501(c)3 tax-exempt voluteer organization with over 100 members who put in countless hours to make sure that the people in our community are safe. Our company has carried on an unselfish devotion to the Towns of Wheatfield, Cambria and Lewiston, and the Tuscarora Indian Reservation for over 48 years. When making your donation you can be sure that your money will go to a good cause.
